2025 BIM Summer Camp

What will the world with BIM look like? × Metaverse in Civil & Building Engineering

The NTU BIM Center’s most popular summer workshop for high school and vocational students is back! After three years of enthusiastic feedback, the 2025 camp will continue its hands-on curriculum with AutoCAD for transforming 2D drawings into 3D models, BIM modeling with Revit, and 3D rendering. This year, it also incorporates cutting-edge AI applications and on-site visits to leading industry companies, offering a complete view of the diverse realities in the construction sector.

From design and modeling to knowledge management, participants will step into the promising future of the construction industry and experience firsthand how BIM (Building Information Modeling) and related technologies are shaping the digital future.

What will the world with BIM look like? × Metaverse in Civil & Building Engineering

The NTU BIM Center launches a three-day summer workshop for high school and vocational students. Building on the success of the past two years and inspired by the latest digital technology trends, the program is designed to immerse participants in the digital world of construction and showcase BIM’s role in shaping future cities.

This year’s workshop offers a diverse exploration of the construction industry, featuring hands-on experiences with BIM modeling in Revit, practical exercises with AutoCAD for transforming 2D drawings into 3D models, and insights into AI applications in the construction field. Students will gain firsthand experience in the tools and technologies driving the next generation of architectural design and digital construction.

What will the world with BIM look like? × Metaverse in Civil & Building Engineering

The NTU BIM Center launch a two-day summer camp for high school and vocational students. With last year's successful experience, influenced by the latest AI technology trends, the camp was designed for participants to immerse in the digital world of construction and to introduce them to BIM's role in developing a smart city.

The camp offers an assorted exploration of the construction industry, featuring hands-on experiences with advanced practices in Taiwan, including BIM technology, AR/ VR technologies, and the most popular generative AI image production (Midjourney). Also, through practical exercises in visual design and rendering with Lumion, students will have a unique opportunity to witness the future of architectural design and digital construction.

2022 BIM Summer Camp

What will the world with BIM look like? × Metaverse in Civil & Building Engineering
Experience a unique summer camp at the NTU BIM Center, designed for high school and vocational students. The two-day activities dive into digital construction and the role of BIM in developing smart cities. Explore building design and management through interactive sessions and hands-on learning.

Highlights include a tour of NTU's Social Sciences College, designed by renowned architect Toyo Ito, where students engage in architectural drawing and on-site “treasure hunts”. The camp also provides insights into Taiwan's cutting-edge construction industry, applications of AR & VR, and AI technologies. Participants will experiment with Lumion software, gaining practical skills in architectural visualization. This immersive camp is a unique opportunity to understand and experience the future of construction and architectural technology.
